The world of labor has entered, under the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, a new period of regressive transformations, deepening the tendencies inscribed in the scenario of multiple crises of the global capitalist economy. Our Latin American region is experiencing this process even more acutely, marked by greater inequalities and fragmentation of its labor markets, and by the consequent deepening of the deterioration in the living conditions of workers.
In this context, on April 7, the Regional Conference "Where is work going? Informality, digitalization and social reproduction in Latin America.
The conference will be composed of three panels composed of leading researchers from the U.S., Europe and Latin America, the conference will provide a great opportunity to critically address important debates about work today.
MODALITY: The conference will have a hybrid modality (face-to-face and virtual). It will be held at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the UBA and through the Zoom platform.
LANGUAGES: The official language of the conference will be Spanish. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in Spanish-Spanish / Spanish-English simultaneous interpretation will be provided.
